Today the staff of ADC traveled to
Pine Brook Camp in Shutesbury, MA to join the staff there in some staff training and teamwork activities.
Bryce, from Deals and Steals in Northampton, talked on healthy snacks and avoiding genetically modified foods. Deals and Steals supplies ADC with healthy snacks for their after school and summer programs.
Arnold Cox spoke with the Pine Brook staff about diversity. This summer the PBC staff will be working with children from ADC Prevention. 
He shared about his own experience growing up in inner-city Boston and talked about ways of relating to and connecting with inner-city kids. Arnold will be returning to Pine Brook in the next few weeks to do a more in-depth seminar with the camp staff.
The day ended with some team building activity on the low ropes course. Both ADC staff and Pine Brook Staff had to work together to accomplish a goal. They worked well together and had fun as well!
